Sarah is the creative force behind Amazonas, a project born from a deep belief that markets can be more than just places to shop.
With a curatorial eye and an eco-responsible ethos, Sarah handpicks every vendor, ensuring quality over quantity.
Based in Lisbon, Sarah draws inspiration from the city's vibrant culture and the growing movement for conscious consumption.
An old warehouse, a whole world to wander through. At 8 Marvila, Amazonas brings together independent brands, vintage finds, design, food, creative workshops and a really good music programme.
A little world of its own within MOGA. Our festival market brings together a selection of makers and brands for moments between sets: a piece to take home, a conversation to remember, another side of the festival to explore.
A little Christmas world, made to be explored. Independent makers, beautiful things to gift, creative workshops, lots for the little ones and all the cosy Christmas treats we wait for all year.
Mirari was where the neighbourhood came together. Our local markets gave Lisbon’s makers a place to show what they do and everyone else a reason to drop by, wander between stalls and stay a little longer.
Lisbon was part of the experience at Campo das Cebolas. With the river nearby and the city all around, this open-air edition invited people to move between creative stalls, food and music at their own pace.
A market can belong on the dancefloor too. For events such as Boa Viagem and Groove Castle, we curate pop-ups that move with the party, bringing creative finds and new encounters into the night.
Behind the stalls
Every Amazonas begins with people. Makers who sew, shape, print, roast and rework, many of them just a few streets away.
We look for projects with a story, made with care for the people who wear them and for the planet that hosts them. No mass production, no anonymous stock: just independent hands and the conversations that happen across a table.
That's the whole point.
